We had Adam’s baby blessing this morning, and a lot of the family came out to be here with us for the occasion.
Here is a picture showing most of the family that came. I believe Uncle Aaron and Aunt Linda were the only ones that left before any pictures were taken.
While I worked on getting dinner ready to serve, a bunch of people played this crazy game, where they had to do funny things. I remember Kyle needed to talk like a pirate, and then later he got the card that told him to talk like Scooby Doo (and it was kind of funny to hear him try to do a pirate Scooby Doo), Ethan had to give himself bunny ears any time he spoke. Just a totally weird game, and I was very glad that I was not playing. 😛
I prepared all of the food and put the chips and dip out last, right before we were ready to serve. And it was a good thing that I put those out last because as soon as they were out and easy to reach Lydia was right there digging in.
The other kids were quick to follow her example:
After dinner we pretty much just spent the rest of the day hanging out, and just enjoying each others company. Adam spent most of the afternoon in somebody’s arms, getting passed from one family member to another.
