Adam’s First Haircut

We decided that we needed to cut Adams hair before people start thinking he looks like a girl. His golden curls have gotten so long!

I REALLY did not want to cut the curls OFF! I just wanted to trim them. Kyle insisted that the one inch attachment wouldn’t be too short, but he was wrong. Adam didn’t know what to think when he saw his reflection in the mirror.

Human

At breakfast Lydia asked me “Mom, is grandma human?” I wondered why she would ask something like this and said yes. One of the kids told Lydia that she is human too, and she answered with “No, I am a kid!”

Then at dinner, I was telling Kyle about the mornings conversation, and I told Lydia that a kid is actually a baby goat. A few minutes later, Lydia told Kyle “Daddy, grandma is a human.” Kyle asked “Is mommy a human?” Lydia answered and said “No, she is a big girl.” Then he asked her if she was a human and she said “No, I’m a little kid, baby goat.” We all had a good laugh at that.
