My Cute Girls

For Christmas we got Tyra and Dinah these cute matching dresses (I’m bummed that they didn’t come smaller than size 12 months so I could get one for Chloe too but oh well). The girls have been in bad need of a long sleeved dress for wearing to church. I don’t understand why we live where it snows and the stores here sell SHORT sleeved (or even no sleeved) Christmas dresses. HELLO! Don’t you see the snow outside! So when I saw these long sleeved dresses I knew I should get them. 🙂

On the way to eating real food

Chloe started eating rice cereal today. We tried giving her some when she was about 4 months old at the suggestion of her doctor, but she wasn’t ready for it then. She didn’t know how to swallow it at all. But lately I’ve been noticing that she watches us intently when we eat or put anything in our mouths. Sometimes she will even try to take our food from us, so we decided it was time to try the baby food again. This time she is ready! She sees the spoon coming and watches it closely:

Chloe Rolled Over!

YAY! Chloe rolled over today. She’s been almost rolling over for awhile now, but today she figured out how to get her arm out of the way and actually go all the way over.

Isn’t it funny how babies always roll over, then they get mad because they don’t like being on their tummy, and can’t figure out how to get back over. So you flip them back onto their back, and they roll over to their tummy again, and get mad all over again……I think that’s funny. 🙂

Picture Time

A couple of weeks ago we went in to have family pictures taken. And we wanted pictures of just Chloe, so we went ahead and had pictures taken of each of our kids.

We started with Dinah:

Then it was Ethan’s turn, and the kid would NOT smile. We finally did get a couple of good pictures of him, after we took the pictures of the family and of Chloe, and we said we were all done.
