Chloe’s 2nd birthday

We celebrated Chloe’s 2nd birthday today! Tiffany is in town and staying with us, and Debby came out for the festivities as well. Chloe loved opening presents:

After dinner she was looking VERY tired. Which is very normal for after dinner on a Sunday. With 1 o’clock church the kids don’t get naps on Sundays and she was really close to drifting off to sleep.

Like that nice glazed over look? Hehe, as soon as I brought the cake over to her and we sang to her she got right back into the partying spirit. 🙂

I love that she is trying to smile and blow out the remaining candle at the same time. She’s so cute.

Look Alikes

I have always thought that Chloe looks a lot like Jeremy did as a baby (just in a dress instead).  But this is just too funny:

This is Jeremy back in 2008.

And this is Chloe just last night. She does this every time we ask her where her food went (as long as she ate it). So funny. 🙂

What about me?

Sitting on my dresser, I have this small picture frame with a picture of Kyle and myself while we were dating. Chloe really likes coming into my room and taking that picture frame to carry it all around the house with her. She will come up to me to show me that she has the picture and with the biggest smile she says “Daddy!” I agree with her and say “yes that’s daddy, then I ask who is that next to daddy?” And she just answers back with “Daddy!” So I cover the side of the picture with Kyle and ask “Who is that?” and MOST of the time she still answers back with “Daddy!” What about me???? I’m in that picture too! On a very rare occasion, she will admit that “Mommy” is in that picture too. But most of the time all she sees is Daddy!

Snow Dragon

We got quite a bit of snow last night, so after walking Chewy, Kyle decided to spend the morning outside playing in the snow. BY HIMSELF!!! He kept telling the kids to come back in the house, and that they would see what he was doing when he was done! Ya like they were going to let him play out there by himself and just stand like good little children by the storm door to watch and see what he was creating out of the snow. When I went to see what Kyle was doing it looked as if he were just rolling ALL of the snow from our lawn into big balls and then he was putting them in a big pile. After he had spent what seemed like forever outside the kids ended up joining him anyways.

This was Chloe’s first time going out to play with fresh snow, and she is so CUTE!

The other kids had lots of fun too and even tried to help Kyle with his creation.

Eventually Kyle told me that his sculpture was supposed to be a dragon. Chloe didn’t stay out to play very long. Her poor hands were bright red, they were so cold. And her clothes were getting all wet! She was super mad when I brought her back in the house, but I just knew I had to get her dry and warmed back up!
