Ethan needed to go out and so some observations for his Environmental Science merit badge so we decided to make a trip to Bridal Veil Falls so he can do that. Chloe had a friend come over to ask if she can play as we were preparing to leave, so Kyle went and talked to her parents and they decided to let her come with us. We also decided to use this as an opportunity to practice “Leave No Trace” for some cub scout awards for Jeremy. 🙂
Dinah lost her fifth baby tooth! 5 down 15 to go!
At the prospect of earning money by mowing the lawn, Dinah really wanted a turn. So here’s her first attempt at mowing the lawn.

As we were leaving Debby in Texas we decided to find an HEB store on our way to find a hotel for the night, so we could buy some of the watermelon soda to take home with us. Kyle bought a few packs of watermelon but also picked up a pack of some peach soda. I like it a lot, and I’m sad that he only got one. It’s especially good as a float! 😀
Our Girl Scout community was having a promotion to encourage troops to re-register early. For being re-registered early they were inviting us to come see the Minions movie for free. Other family members were allowed to come, but had to pay. Well since myself and three of the girls were covered by the community, that was half of the family getting in for free! So we decided to pay for the other half and go together. Adam was so excited to go see the movie that he didn’t nap in the van on the way into town, and he didn’t nap during the movie either, but he just couldn’t make it home. In fact all that excitement had him so worn out that he fell asleep with popcorn on his lips. 😛
